Access to the sites of the Historical Peninsula (Haghia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Spice Market) is very easy by jumping into the the metro at Tunel, which by the way, happens to be the World’s second oldest metro tying Galata to Karakoy, since 1871, as well as by taxi, a short 15 minutes ride.
