Galata | M84 Apart Hotel is located on Mesrutiyet Caddesi, only a few steps from the escalators of Sishane Metro, which connects directly to next stop Taksim Square, the hub of the city. Tunel Square which is at the end of Istiklal Street, the celebrated ‘must be seen’ pedestrian street full of eateries, small shops, bookstores, pubs, art galleries, movies and theatres, and Galata Square where Galata Tower, a landmark of the city is, are again only a couple of minutes walk. Galata region, once built as a Genoese settlement in Byzantine times and was always an integral part of Constantinople and Ottoman Istanbul, is considered as the city’s "Soho" with its bohemian, relaxed, art loving and hip atmosphere.

Access to the sites of the Historical Peninsula (Haghia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Spice Market) is very easy by jumping into the the metro at Tunel, which by the way, happens to be the World’s second oldest metro tying Galata to Karakoy, since 1871, as well as by taxi, a short 15 minutes ride.
